NRMC Update to the Conference Format

In 2010, the National Rangers Ministry Camp (NRMC) replaced National Training Camp (NTC) as the primary national training event for leaders. While NRMC has been an effective mechanism for training Royal Rangers leaders, the need for an update has become increasingly evident. In 2023, some aspects of NRMC were changed to enable this event to be conducted in a non-camping environment and expand the content being presented.

The Importance of Training

I have also talked leaders who do not understand why Royal Rangers training is continuous and encouraged and who aren’t sure how new training is relevant to them after years of service in their outposts. Well, this article is for those leaders. I want to share why Royal Rangers training is so vitally important to our ministry and to all those in it.

Introducing the New Ranger Safety

Training Updates

As you read this, you may be preparing for a Thanksgiving feast. Then, we move onto the happiest time of the year, the celebration of the birth of our Savior. With the holidays upon us, I wanted to keep this article rather lite. So, we only have three training updates: new book for OLT, CLE ribbons, and new WCO events.

Next Three Months in Training

So, what remains for 2019 and early 2020? We have six training events from October through January.

Training: What if?

Plato said, "Necessity is the mother of invention." What happens when you know what you want to do, but there is not a structure or procedure in place to accomplish the goal. This is the issue the Northwest region faced, and the solution was to host a combined NRMC/NEEC.
